Our engineers have released a fix for this issue. Replying to notes will work as expected now.

We have identified an issue when replying to a note within CIM. An error will occur when sending the email and the reply will not be saved as a note. Our engineers are actively working on a solution to this issue. We will post an update when this has been resolved.
